Volunteer Naturalists
Volunteer naturalists draw on their own expertise to provide outreach in AMC lodges and backcountry huts. Naturalist programming primarily includes leading evening programs and nature walks. Volunteer Naturalists may also help guests with activity planning, orient them to the facility, and offer advice about hiking trails, outdoor gear, and backcountry safety.
