Corman Harriman Campsites

With tent platforms and three-sided shelters, Harriman offers a range of camping experiences for visitors.

Effective as of August 17, 2022:
To help slow the spread of multiple invasive species in Harriman State Park lakes and ponds, use of personal boats at AMC Corman Harriman Outdoors Center is prohibited for the remainder of the season. All registered AMC guests are welcome to use the complimentary fleet of canoes and kayaks available at the camp.

Corman Harriman Campsites

Each site has a platform and can accommodate up to a maximum of four guests. A shared bathhouse with showers and a dishwashing station is centrally located. Guests can cook using camp stoves (not provided) or the provided shared fire rings or camp grills in their camping area. Charcoal, ice, and firewood are available for purchase in the Camp Store. Coolers are permitted at frontcountry campsites only. Each camping area has a bear box.

Meal Service

Campers are welcome to order and enjoy meals in the dining room. Save up to 25% by ordering meals before you arrive. Early Bird Meal Rates are available when meals are ordered and paid for more than 24 hours* prior to 3pm on your arrival day. Meals ordered less than 24 hours prior to arrival or ordered onsite, are at the regular rates and cannot be guaranteed. Dinner, breakfast, and trail lunches are available for purchase.

Dinner is served at 6 p.m. sharp, breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.,and made to order trail lunches are available for pick up at breakfast. Hot beverages are available for early risers.

Backcountry Camping

These locations require some hiking to reach, and do not have access to the bathhouse or dishwashing station. Charcoal and coolers are not allowed at these sites, but you can cook using cook using camp stoves (not provided) or the provided shared fire rings in the camping area. Access to the beach and boats are allowed, but are not nearby the campsites.

 

Blueberry Ridge: This is a four-platform, pack-in campsite, 0.25 miles from camp and only accessible by foot. Trail is rated easy-to moderate and appropriate foot gear required. Prepare by bringing at minimum: a backpack with tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, backpacking stove, and drinking water. Each of the four sites accommodates up to a maximum of four guests on a 10×12 platform. Amenities include: Composting toilets, bear box, campfire ring with grate, and grey water disposal. Reservations are per platform, not the whole campsite.

Bear Ledge: This is a four-platform, pack-in campsite, 0.5 mile from camp and only accessible by foot. Trail is rated easy-to moderate and appropriate foot gear required. Prepare by bringing at minimum: a backpack with tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, backpacking stove, and drinking water. Each of the four sites accommodates up to a maximum of four guests on a 10×12 platform. Amenities include: Composting toilets, bear box, campfire ring with grate, and grey water disposal. Reservations are per platform, not the whole campsite.

Boulder Canyon: This is a four-platform campsite area, pack-in site 0.25 mile from camp and only accessible by foot. Trail is rated easy-to moderate and appropriate foot gear required. Prepare by bringing at minimum: a backpack with tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, backpacking stove, and drinking water. Each of the four sites accommodates up to a maximum of 4 guests on a 10×12 platform. Amenities include: Composting toilets, bear box, campfire ring with grate, and grey water disposal. Reservations are per platform, not the whole campsite.

Rocky Flats: This is a four-platform campsite area, pack-in site 1 mile from camp and only accessible by foot. Trail is rated easy-to moderate and appropriate foot gear required. Prepare by bringing at minimum: a backpack with tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, backpacking stove, and drinking water. Each of the four sites accommodates up to a maximum of 4 guests on a 10×12 platform. Amenities include: Composting toilets, bear box, campfire ring with grate, and grey water disposal. Reservations are per platform, not the whole campsite.
